What should I expect at my first AeroZen class?
We ask that you arrive 10 - 15 minutes early so we can make sure your hammock is properly set up, and all paper work is completed. It is best to not practice Aerial Yoga on a full stomach.
How much does an AeroZen class cost?
AeroZen classes are included in our unlimited membership package.. Drop in classes are available for purchase as well, for $18 per class. Pre-registration is required for all AeroZen classes, including drop ins. You can pre-register for our AeroZen classes by using the Mind Body Connect app or by calling the studio at 918-388-8799.
What should I wear to an AeroZen class?
You will want to wear form fitting clothing including a top that you can go upside-down in. All shirts must cover the armpits and pants must cover the knees. Baggy clothing can snag and catch in the yoga swing's fabric which can lead injury and accidents. Zippers and all jewelry are not allowed, as they can snag the fabric.
Do I need prior Yoga experience to take an AeroZen class?
While it is encouraged to have some yoga experience, it is not a requirement. We do require anyone wanting to take an AeroZen Fly class to complete our AeroZen Basics Workshop before attending their first class. We will build off of the skills you are taught during the workshop to ensure a fun and successful class.
I have taken Aerial Yoga before, do I still need to take the AeroZen Basics Workshop?
While it is encouraged to take the intro workshop, you may not be required to take the workshop. Prior approval from the instructor is required in order to bypass the prerequisite.
I am a male. Can I attend an AeroZen class?
Yes! Our AeroZen classes are open to everyone of all fitness levels. You must be 13 years or older to attend any of our AeroZen classes.
How difficult is an AeroZen class?
We offer a variety of Aerial Yoga classes for all different fitness levels. Our AeroZen Float class will be the least challenging class of all. This is a great starting point, and does not require the AeroZen Basics Workshop prior to attending.
Is there a weight or size limit for the Yoga Swing?
Technically, the hammock can hold around 2,000 pounds. We recommend this class for anyone around 200 pounds and under as working with the swing as a prop can become uncomfortable, but certainly we have had students over 200 pounds enjoy our classes.
If you have any additional questions or concerns about attending one of our Aerial Yoga classes, please do not hesitate to contact us either by e-mail or by phone, 918-388-8799.
